In this section I'm going to tell you about weapons and warfare. Some other things are, a report on some aspects, some of the challenges that they did in the older days were, tournaments, jousting crossbows, and the crusades. In the Middle Ages it was extremely violent. The quest for wealth and power was driven by the violent culture of the European countries. There was basically two types of armed men during the
Medieval times who used lots of weapons only the ones that were open for use. Men-at-arms were the people that used weapons
according to their specific position which was determined by the Feudal
system. The weapons were very expensive items. The lords were expected to train and give the knights rewards.
Siege Weapons: Siege weapons are The Medieval era of the Middle Ages saw the advent of the Crusades to the Holy Land and the construction of hundreds of castles at home. A totally new form of warfare and weapons were introduced to England with the castles and following the experiences fighting the Saracens and their fortresses during the siege performed an action to defend and attack.
- The Weapons used by Knights and the Crusaders:
- Daggers - Short pointed knives
- Flail - A jointed weapon consisting of a spiked or knobbed steel head joined by a chain to
a short wood handle - Maces - Maces developed from a steel ball on a wooden handle, to an elaborately spiked steel war club
- Lance - A long, strong, spear-like weapon. Designed for use on horseback
- Swords - A variety of different types of swords were used as Knights weapons

- they used all types of weapons the foot soldiers were the ones that used them
